First United Bank was originally chartered as First State Bank of Dimmitt in 1907.  We are one of the oldest chartered financial institutions doing business in the state of Texas as we have been serving the financial needs of West Texas for over 97 years.

Present management and ownership have been with First United Bank since January 1987.  The name of the bank was changed in October 1994 to reflect the uniting of all banking locations under a common name.
